Addison Construction Supply contributed to the foundation of one of the world’s most sustainable sports and entertainment venues.
Deep Foundations – drilled shafts and pile-supported piers
Rebar Cages – full-length tied cages with spirals and longitudinal bars
Shop Fabrication – preassembled, cages for consistent quality control
Structural Performance – deep load transfer for stadium superstructure and lateral stability
Addison Construction Supply provided rebar fabrication and assembly for the deep foundation system supporting the new Climate Pledge Arena. Our work included building, tying, and delivering the reinforcing steel cages for the piles that extend beneath the stadium structure. Each pier was fully fabricated and tied in our shop to maintain strict quality control and enable efficient on-site installation.
The completed rebar cages were then transported to the jobsite, where they were lifted into place and lowered into drilled shafts to form the arena’s foundational support system. This project played a key role in the redevelopment of Seattle’s iconic arena—now a global model for sustainable venue design—by delivering a precise, durable structural base for the facility.
